Intercoms

Intercom systems in the home provide security as well as convenience. Intercoms can be installed in all rooms and living areas as well as at the front door, such that the door can safely be answered from other points in the home. Camera security linked to the intercom is an added safety measure and can be useful for front door security especially when linked to the phone system.

Music or radio can be played through the intercom outlets as an added feature.

Antennas

There are many different types of antenna designed for signal reception of various frequencies. Selecting the correct one for a particular application can depend on many factors other than just the particular signal required. Installing the antenna too is not any easy task. Professionals will be best equipped to advise of the most suitable antenna for the application and local geography as well as provide quick and easy installation.

Now it is possible for us to control all the electrical appliances and outlets of the home with one central control. Everything — lights, alarms, cooking appliances, blinds, curtain track systems, watering systems, windows, doors, sound, television — the list goes on. Soon such control systems will be priced to appeal to the mass market — imagine the time saved. Remote controls are a way of life now and are very convenient. Centralised systems pool together these remotes into one.

Such systems can actually improve cost efficiencies by turning appliances off when not needed. You can even control all these elements from outside the home — no more forgetting to turn off the oven!

Vacuum Systems

The best time to install an integrated vacuum system into a home is at construction but some systems can be installed into existing homes. These systems are wonderful for those with allergies as they filter the air extremely well.

The vacuums fit into sockets strategically placed around the home. When the hose is connected to these the motor starts up automatically.

All dust is collected into one central unit which is enclosed in a cupboard or similar area.

Kits are available for the handyman which can make the installation process quite economical.
