The styles available in blinds for your home are many and varied and can be designed to suit individual tastes. The number of styles and fabrics to choose from can mean choosing a blind to suit a situation can be a daunting task.
Some more popular blinds are:
  • Holland blinds which can be of plain coloured standard fabrics or fabrics of your choice bonded to a backing material;
  • Cloud blinds which are in effect box pleated and pulled up at periods across the bottom;
  • London blinds which are similar to cloud blinds but are pulled up softly on each side;
  • Austrian blinds which are very full and flouncy and pulled up in a series of scallops;
  • Venetian blinds with metal, acrylic or timber slats in a variety of widths, natural or painted finishes;
  • Vertical blinds which are used to maintain the view out and let light and breezes in while providing privacy from the outside;
  • Pleated blinds which provide insulation as well as an attractive appearance. Sheer fabrics can be used as well as solid fabrics;
  • Vignette blinds which are similar in appearance to roman blinds but roll up into a head box;
  • Silhouette blinds which are similar in appearance to a sheer curtain but open and close like a venetian.
  • Woodweave blinds which can provide total or partial privacy
  • Reflective blinds shield the interior from the sun's harmful rays and from glare, without totally blocking the view.
