Electric Air Conditioning systems can offer either cooling only or heating and cooling together in the reverse cycle system. As the cost difference between the two is not great, most people opt for the benefit of the reverse cycle system. These systems are usually installed through the ceiling but can be installed under floor where ceiling space is limited.

Where access or size of room dictates, split air conditioning systems can be mounted on the internal wall to service one or two rooms.
Some councils have noise regulations relating to domestic air conditioners and the maximum decibel level allowed for external condensers. Some councils also limit the time period during which you are allowed to run your air conditioning.
